Made exclusively from a single vineyard grown at an altitude of 11,000 meters on Mount Malkia in the Upper Galilee, this Cabernet Sauvignon plot was carefully chosen among the winery’s vineyards. The unpressed free-run juice went was aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
Once bottled, the wine aged for an additional year in the winery cellars giving if further depth and complexity.
This well balanced full bodied wine is a deep dark ruby red with cherry hues. It exhibits aromas and flavors of black forest fruits and cassis with hints of caramel, clove and Mediterranean herbs.
The Bottle comes in a proffesional gift box and is also wrapped in paper, giving it the exclusive look it deserve and a great gift presentation
Tabor Winery was founded in 1999 by four growers in Kfar Tabor (Tavor Village), in the shadow of Mount Tabor, in the Lower Galilee. Today it is the fifth largest winery in Israel producing more than 1.5 million bottles a year.
The manager of the winery is Oren Sela, from one of those original grower families. The winemaker is Arie Nesher, a winemaker for 35 years, with experience in Russia and Israel. In Israel he has worked for Carmel’s Zichron Ya’acov Cellars, Tishbi Winery and Caesarea Winery. Tabor wines are distributed by IBBLS, the exclusive importers & distributors of Diageo in Israel, the largest spirits company in the world.
The parent company is The Central Bottling Company, the largest Beverage Company in Israel. They are owners, producers or distributors of many of the most famous international brands, including Coca Cola, Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Carlsberg and also….Tabor.
